As for the knight business, yes, he's a real one. I know this because I've read about knights and he certainly fits the role of one.

Yes, the words just disappear. They last for a few minutes, but no more than that.
Well, I'm sure there's a reason. Do you want us to study it together? It isn't as though there's much else to study here.
